Hello, welcome to the crack in the wall where I whisper things. I’m your blogger Steph, a thirty-something from Wisconsin born and raised in Milwaukee and currently living in one of the many suburbs on the edge of the metro area. My chosen profession is writing but until it pays the bills I work in the banking industry. Trust me when I tell you, you don’t want to know more about what I do every day.
Three things you, dear reader, should know about me.
- I’m a giant nerd; have been all of my life. I can say with near certainty that nearly every entry will have some form of nerdy reference.
- I am an out-and-proud lesbian. A dateless wonder but hey no one’s perfect.
- I have anxiety, the current en vogue term is high-functioning anxiety. I can’t say I enjoy it but I have learned to accept it.
